Dr.Turabi has a special interest in treating cases of Chiari malformation in Mumbai where there is tonsillar herniation which causes neck pain and in extreme cases can result in paralysis and death. His thesis work on complex Chiari malformation has been presented in Bangalore Neurological society monthly meet with much appreciation from Neurosurgery professors and colleagues.  There are a plethora of options for treating Chiari malformation ranging from simple observation to surgical intervention.  As we are well versed with all the treatment options and continue to operate upon such patients we are better placed to help such patients throughout their treatment.
