Spinal Cord Tumor
Spinal cord tumours can be inside cord (intramedullary) outside cord but inside dura (intradural-extramedullary) or outside dura (extradural).
Leaving aside these technical terms what we need to know is some of them are completely curable if intervention is done on time.
A tumor or growth on the spinal column of any type may cause significant discomfort and neurological difficulties, and even partial or complete paralysis. A spinal tumor has the potential to be life-threatening and result in lifelong impairment.
We remove these tumours with minimal invasive techniques resulting in lesser post operative pain and early return to work than open techniques.
